Four questions. The last one matters most.
You have decided to come and see Las Colinas. Flights, dates and perhaps a few days off are in the diary. What do you want to be able to say when you fly home?
The trip that leaves you unsure
Think of a trip you have taken to look at something important. Days full of appointments, a folder of brochures, a camera roll of rooms and views. On the flight home the pictures blur together, and the question you came to answer is still open.
A holiday trip can leave you in the same place. You see a place at its busiest, you enjoy it, and you return with a good feeling and a few open questions. A good feeling matters, and a decision also needs clear answers.
A good viewing trip is built around four questions. Here they are, each with what I would look for.
1. Is it the right fit?
This comes first, because the rest only matters if the answer is yes. A good first question is how you want to live. The estate has a championship golf course, tennis, padel and pickleball, a fitness centre with spa and three restaurants, inside a gated estate with its own security service. If that daily rhythm appeals, the visit will show you whether it feels right in person.
Take a walk, sit down for a meal, and see whether you can picture an ordinary Tuesday here.

Notice how the days feel. Take a walk, sit down for a meal, and see whether you can picture an ordinary Tuesday here. If you can, you have your answer. If something feels off, it helps to know early, and you are welcome to say so.
2. Which home suits how you want to live?
Once you know the estate suits you, the home follows from your days. How many rooms you will use, whether you want one level, how often you will have guests, whether you plan longer stays or shorter ones. The answer to this question is personal, and it comes from you.
3. Which location?
On the estate you can choose between nature trails and quiet, or the hub close to the restaurants. Each suits a different way of living. Then comes the direction of the view. Which way a home faces decides whether you have the morning sun or the evening sun. It is worth standing there at the time of day when you would use it.

It is also worth walking from the home to where you would spend your time, whether that is the course, the courts or the restaurants.
A location looks different once you have walked it.
4. What is available now, and what is coming?
This is the question I would not leave out. In my view there are five to ten years of development left on the estate. Las Colinas currently plans to launch the second phase of Buganvilla in early 2027. Dates can change.

Knowing what is for sale now, and what is likely to come in the next one to two years, lets you judge each home against the whole picture.
The whole picture
The last question is the most important.
When you know all of it, you can decide with confidence.
That is my job, and it is where I spend most of my time: making sure you see the whole picture before you choose. If you are planning a trip, I am happy to talk through the four questions with you first, so the days you spend here answer them.
